Dr. Kanie Siu
Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Kanie Siu is Plan International’s Chief Executive Officer for the Hong Kong office. She joined Plan International in January 2015.
Kanie is an experienced fundraiser, marketer and administrator. She spent 10 years working in marketing and public relations across several commercial industries before joining an international charity organization in 1998, where she helped pioneer the application of those skills to the non-governmental organization sector. She was responsible for fundraising, communications and branding strategies in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Mainland China of the organization, and was committed to promoting poverty alleviation initiatives for 16 years.
In 2015, she was appointed CEO of Plan International Hong Kong, one of the leading international development organizations with more than 80 years of history that is committed to fulfilling children’s rights and ending poverty worldwide. With Kanie’s leadership and profound experiences in the business and charity sector, the scope of works of Plan International Hong Kong was greatly expanded and diversified, resulting in a twofold increase in fundraising income in just 10 years. She is dedicated to raising public awareness of girls’ rights and leading the team in launching various campaigns to promote girls’ rights and has repositioned the organization’s key role in advancing girls’ rights and promoting gender equality. Kanie also puts lots of effort into enhancing local children’s rights. She takes the lead role in promoting Child Safeguarding Policy, Child Participatory Community Development and prevention of child abuse. In the long run, Kanie looks forward to building Hong Kong into a Child Safeguarding City, that provides a safe environment for healthy growth of every child and youth, and building a harmonious society where children’s voices are heard by different stakeholders. To raise the understanding and concern of Hong Kong youths towards girls’ rights in developing countries, she also led the team to launch various youth development education programs.
Kanie has made significant contributions in bringing proven business administration and marketing practices to fundraising work in Hong Kong. She has also conducted fundraising and management training for various NGOs in both Hong Kong and Mainland China and shared development issues at universities. With her contribution to philanthropy in both Hong Kong and Mainland China, Kanie has been awarded as one of the awardees in the Second Global Outstanding Young Leader Award organized by YaZhou Zhoukan in 2017. Kanie was selected as one of the Global Outstanding Chinese Community Leaders of Yazhou Zhoukan and the World Federation of Chinese Entrepreneurs Organization in 2022. In 2024, she received the Global Chinese Leadership Award from The Global Academy of Innovative Enterprises.

Dr Thomas Tang is an Executive Director and consultant with 30 years project experience in climate risk & adaptation, sustainable design, waste management, energy and environmental technology for clients including governmental and international organisations such as the World Bank, the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation, the UK's Department of Trade and Industry and the Hong Kong Government as well as many private sector clients.
Dr Tang has a background in management training and consulting specializing in strategy and facilitating stakeholder dialogue. He is a recognized speaker on the subject of sustainability, and he has spoken at many international conferences and been interviewed for his views on sustainable development in Asia. Between 2014-2017, he set up and ran the award-winning KL Centre for Sustainable Innovation, an Asia sustainability hub based in Malaysia. He is an Innovation Expert on design thinking-based social innovation to provide services to the elderly, youth, mentally disabled and vulnerable groups focusing on social outcomes & impacts.

The name of his company, "FiBi," derives from the pronunciation of his mother's name (Phoebe), which stands for Family-in-Business intelligence and it signifies his dedication to providing intelligent solutions and insights to support and nurture the unique dynamics of family enterprises.
Marshall also serves as the Executive Director of The Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Centre for Family Business and Center for Entrepreneurship since 2019, where he brings his personal experience growing up in a family business environment and as a serial entrepreneur.

Alfred Ho's distinguished five-decade consulting career began in 1970 as a personal assistant to the Managing Director of a Hutchison International Group engineering conglomerate, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the operations and corporate dynamics through internal assignments. He subsequently developed expertise in change implementation, organizational, and entrepreneurial development, holding key positions at Hutchison Whampoa Group, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Management Development Centre of Hong Kong (Vocational Training Council), the Poon Kam Kai Institute of Management (University of Hong Kong), and the Hay Group.
A pioneer in competency-based assessment and development systems in Hong Kong during the early 1990s, Alfred was instrumental in introducing methodologies that significantly enhanced local enterprise performance. As Hong Kong's first Oxford University Certified Development Adviser, Assessor, and Internal Verifier for the UK's National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) system, his expertise proved invaluable, influencing the SAR Government's subsequent adoption and development of Hong Kong’s Qualifications Framework.
Since the turn of the century, as a Partner at G. Li & Co., Ltd. and Executive Director of the Academy of Management Consultancy Ltd., he has focused on strengthening governance structures and practices for public organizations, NGOs, and family businesses, providing executive coaching for sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Alfred maintains a strong and enduring association with tertiary education. From 2009 to 2014, as Consultant-in-Residence at the HKU Business School, he established consulting practicums for business and economics students, providing them valuable real-world experience while benefiting local SMEs. He has taught management, strategy, entrepreneurship, consulting, and innovation at most Hong Kong universities, fostering future leaders. Amanda Fok is a neurodiversity advocate, B Corp founder, certified ADHD coach, and seasoned speaker and consultant. She is dedicated to raising awareness and fostering a deeper understanding of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and neurodiversity, while actively championing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in corporate and social settings.
As the Founder of Let’s Talk ADHD, Amanda leads Hong Kong’s first and only social enterprise focused on adult ADHD support and education. She works closely with individuals, families, and organizations to create inclusive environments, advocating for workplace accessibility and equitable opportunities for neurodivergent individuals. Her thought leadership has been widely recognized in the media, and she is a sought-after speaker at international ADHD conferences and corporate forums, sharing both her expertise and lived experience to drive meaningful change.
Beyond public speaking, Amanda is an accomplished corporate trainer and consultant specializing in Master of Ceremonies, public speaking, and inclusive workplace strategies. She has collaborated with global corporations and social organizations to deliver training on neurodiverse leadership, inclusive communication, and workplace accessibility, helping organizations strengthen their DEI frameworks. Additionally, Amanda has hosted over 300 live ADHD-focused broadcasts, engaging with international ADHD experts to provide valuable insights and practical strategies for the community.

Mr. Dennis Wu has nearly 30 years of experience in the financial industry focused onalternative asset management (including PE, VC, Mezzanine, Real Estate, Special Situationand Principal Investment, etc.) and investment banking, and 10 years of experience inESG and sustainable development. He also focuses on green and healthy buildings, environmental consultancy, green finance, impact investment, sustainability advisory. Currently, Mr. Wu is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of AECGroup, Founding President of Greater Bay Area Carbon Neutrality Association, Chairman of HongKong Private Equity Finance Association, ESG Certified Professional, a member of theTask Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) Working Group, and a Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) member. In addition, he is admission panel members for HongKong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP)’s incubation program and Tech300 by TheCity University of Hong Kong. On top of that, he is a Green Tech mentor for startups for many technology challenges. He is also leading Green Technology partners in ASEANcountries and the Middle East Region.

Mr. Hauman Yeung
Executive Director of Ascent Partners Advisory Service Limited

Mr. Yeung obtained a Master’s Degree in Finance from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Since 1988, he has been actively involved in the environmental movement in Hong Kong.
In 1997, he served as a special consultant for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) during the Kyoto Protocol. In 2008, he co-founded Ascent Partner Group Service Limited. In 2016, he established the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) department and has since overseen the production of over 400 ESG reports for listed companies in Hong Kong. As a result, Ascent Partners has become one of the leading players in the ESG field.
In December 2019, Mr. Yeung was invited as a trainer for a program organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP), specifically a National Workshop on Capital Market Development and Green Bond Issuing in Bhutan. He collaborated with the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong to develop an ESG framework for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Hong Kong, utilizing data from various commercial providers such as MSCI, SASB, FTSE, Sustainalytics, and Syntao. Since 2021, he has also served as a technical consultant on the judging panel for the ESG Recognition Award, a collaborative initiative by The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong and Master Insight.
In 2022, Mr. Yeung was engaged by the United Nations as a special consultant for UN ESCAP to contribute to the development of the Asia Pacific Green Deal project. Furthermore, in 2023, he was appointed as a member of the Programme Advisory Committee for the MSc in Sustainable Global Business at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, serving a two-year term.

Mr. Yeung obtained a Master’s Degree in Finance from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Since 1988, he has been actively involved in the environmental movement in Hong Kong.
In 1997, he served as a special consultant for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) during the Kyoto Protocol. In 2008, he co-founded Ascent Partner Group Service Limited. In 2016, he established the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) department and has since overseen the production of over 400 ESG reports for listed companies in Hong Kong. As a result, Ascent Partners has become one of the leading players in the ESG field.
In December 2019, Mr. Yeung was invited as a trainer for a program organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP), specifically a National Workshop on Capital Market Development and Green Bond Issuing in Bhutan. He collaborated with the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong to develop an ESG framework for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Hong Kong, utilizing data from various commercial providers such as MSCI, SASB, FTSE, Sustainalytics, and Syntao. Since 2021, he has also served as a technical consultant on the judging panel for the ESG Recognition Award, a collaborative initiative by The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong and Master Insight.
In 2022, Mr. Yeung was engaged by the United Nations as a special consultant for UN ESCAP to contribute to the development of the Asia Pacific Green Deal project. Furthermore, in 2023, he was appointed as a member of the Programme Advisory Committee for the MSc in Sustainable Global Business at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, serving a two-year term.
